How much does a booth at CES cost?
Floor space is $53 per square foot for 2027, so a 10x10 is $5,300 and a 20x20 is $21,200 before anything is built. Freeman then bills material handling, labor at $98.50 an hour and electrical. The booth itself depends on its size and whether you rent or own. Our proposals list every Freeman charge next to the booth price.
Should I rent or buy a booth for CES?
Most of the booths we build are rentals. A rental pairs our structures with your custom graphics, costs less up front and needs no storage. A custom build suits a large island, a double-deck or a booth you'll take to several shows a year. If you own one, we store it in Las Vegas between shows.
What does drayage cost at CES?
Freeman bills material handling at $0.71 per pound at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Venetian Expo, and $1.16 at ARIA, with a 100-pound minimum. Heavier booths cost more to move in and out. We build light, pack tight and ship across town from our Las Vegas shop.
When is move-in for CES 2027?
Move-in at the Las Vegas Convention Center runs December 26, 2026 to January 5, 2027. Your exact start time is set by your hall's target-freight schedule in the Freeman manual. The show opens January 6, and everything must be out by 1 p.m. on January 12.
Who is the official contractor for CES 2027?
Freeman. It runs the advance warehouse and bills material handling, electrical, rigging and labor to exhibitors directly. Its discount pricing ends December 1. We track the Freeman deadlines for you and include those charges in our proposal.
Can I hang a sign over my CES booth?
Only island and peninsula booths of 400 square feet or more can hang a sign. The maximum height is 20 to 30 feet depending on the hall. The rigging needs stamped engineering drawings, and final rigging plans are due November 20.
When should I start planning a CES booth?
For a custom island, start by September so the design is final before the November rigging deadlines. A rental can start later, but a booth with a hanging sign still has to meet the November dates.
Can I see my CES booth before the show?
Yes. We set up your booth in full at our Las Vegas shop before it ships, so you can walk through it and sign off. Visit our Las Vegas shop, 20 minutes from the convention center.
